Simple and delicious bagels made with just self-rising flour and fat-free Greek yogurt, perfect for a low-point breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: Everything Bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and fat-free Greek yogurt until a dough forms. The dough will be sticky.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a rope and join the ends to form a bagel shape.
  5. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each bagel.
  6. Sprinkle desired toppings over the bagels.
  7. Bake for 23 minutes, then increase the oven temperature to 500°F (260°C) and bake for an additional 2 minutes to brown the tops.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
