Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 6 slider-sized pieces
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup buffalo sauce
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 slider buns
Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving
Pickles, optional
Instructions
Cut the chicken breasts into 6 slider-sized portions and marinate in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
In a shallow bowl, mix the flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Set up a dredging station with the seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
Remove chicken from marinade, dredge in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Spray the basket with nonstick spray.
Air fry chicken pieces for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
While chicken cooks, mix buffalo sauce and melted butter together in a small bowl.
Toss the cooked chicken in the buffalo sauce mixture to coat.
Assemble sliders by placing chicken on the bottom bun, topping with ranch or blue cheese dressing and optional pickles, then add the top bun.
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
Marinate the chicken overnight for maximum flavor and tenderness.
You can adjust the spice level by using a milder or hotter buffalo sauce.
Serve with extra dressing on the side for dipping.
These are best eaten fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer for crispiness.
