Ingredients
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking spray or a small amount of oil
Instructions
Peel and thinly slice the onion into rings or strips.
In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Toss the onion slices in the dry mixture until well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly oil it.
Place the coated onions in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
Air fry for 15–20 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
