Quick and flavorful air fryer tilapia with a smoky spice blend, ready in just 15 minutes. Perfect for a light and healthy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces tilapia fillets (thawed completely if frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat the tilapia fillets dry on both sides using paper towels.
  2. Combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and ground black pepper in a small bowl and mix well.
  3. Brush both sides of the tilapia fillets with olive oil and rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the fish.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 2 minutes.
  5. Arrange the tilapia fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with steamed rice.
