Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar, almond flour, and salt.
  • Whisk Egg Whites: In a separate large bowl, whisk the egg whites with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until they form soft peaks.
  • Combine: Slowly add the dry mixture to the whipped egg whites, gently folding them together until fully incorporated. Stir in the almond extract and vanilla extract.
  • Scoop the Dough: Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top, if desired.
