Coated in a savory blend of Parmesan cheese, herbs, and breadcrumbs, they’re golden brown with a satisfying crunch—perfect for family dinners, meal prep, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with a paper towel.
  4. Brush each drumstick with olive oil or melted butter to help the coating stick.
  5. Roll the drumsticks in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  6. Arrange the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F or 74°C).
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
