These Caprese Skewers are a simple, fresh, and flavorful appetizer made with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or light snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 (8-ounce) container of mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine), drained
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. On each skewer or toothpick, thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball, and one basil leaf. Repeat as needed depending on skewer length.
  2. Arrange the prepared skewers on a serving platter.
  3. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
