Crispy Air Fryer Apple Fries are a healthier, fun twist on traditional fries, made with fresh apples, a cinnamon-spiced coating, and cooked to golden perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji), peeled and sliced into fries
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the apples into fry-like sticks.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Dip each apple slice first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the coated apple fries in a single layer.
  5. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with caramel sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes
