This Best Peach Dump Cake is a delicious, no-fuss dessert that’s made with just a few ingredients. With juicy peaches, a buttery cake topping, and a sweet, golden-brown finish, it’s an easy dessert that everyone will love. Perfect for busy bakers or anyone craving a quick, comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (29 oz) peach slices in syrup, drained
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, sliced into thin pats
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the drained peach slices evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches. Do not mix.
  • Place the sliced butter pats on top of the cake mix, covering it as evenly as possible.
  • Optional: Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top for added crunch and flavor.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream for an extra treat!

Notes

  • If you prefer a fresher taste, you can use fresh peaches, but be sure to slice them and add a bit of sugar to release their juices.
  • You can substitute the yellow cake mix with a white cake mix or even a butter cake mix for a slightly different flavor.
  • For a more caramelized top, add a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on top of the cake mix before baking.
