Big Mac Pasta Salad is a hearty, crowd-pleasing dish that combines seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, crisp lettuce, cheddar cheese, pickles, and a creamy tangy dressing inspired by the classic burger favorite.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water; set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then drain excess grease and allow to cool.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until smooth.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cooked beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, red onion, pickles, and cherry tomatoes.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
  7. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • Allow the beef and pasta to cool completely before mixing to prevent wilting the lettuce.
  • For extra flavor, refrigerate the salad for 1–2 hours before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Add extra pickles or cheese to taste.
