A quick and refreshing Blender Strawberry Salsa made with fresh strawberries, jalapeño, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro. Perfect for dipping or as a topping for tacos and grilled meats.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/2 small red onion
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeds removed (leave some seeds for more heat, optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. Roughly chop the red onion and jalapeño.
  3. Add strawberries, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to a blender or food processor.
  4. Pulse until the salsa reaches your desired consistency—chunky or smoother.
  5. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
  6. Serve immediately with chips or as a topping, or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the jalapeño to your spice preference.
  • Salsa is best enjoyed the same day, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
