Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring until just incorporated.
Gently fold in the blueberries and chocolate chips if using.
Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into 9 squares.
Notes
For extra fudginess, avoid overbaking and remove when moist crumbs remain.
Frozen blueberries can be used; do not thaw before adding to the batter.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
Dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent dessert.
