Ingredients
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup water
2 cups lemonade (freshly squeezed or store-bought)
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1–2 cups ice cubes
Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
Fresh blueberries and lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Make blueberry syrup: In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until berries burst and mixture thickens slightly. Strain if you prefer a smooth syrup. Let cool.
In a blender, combine cooled blueberry syrup, lemonade, ice cream, and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sugar, lemonade, or ice as needed.
Pour into glasses, top with whipped cream, and garnish with blueberries and lemon slices.
Serve immediately while cold and frosty.
Notes
You can skip the syrup step by blending blueberries directly if you don’t mind seeds.
For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk ice cream.
Try adding a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
