A creamy, tangy, and fruity frozen drink made with blueberries, lemonade, and ice cream — the perfect summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups lemonade (freshly squeezed or store-bought)
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 12 cups ice cubes
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Fresh blueberries and lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Make blueberry syrup: In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until berries burst and mixture thickens slightly. Strain if you prefer a smooth syrup. Let cool.
  • In a blender, combine cooled blueberry syrup, lemonade, ice cream, and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sugar, lemonade, or ice as needed.
  • Pour into glasses, top with whipped cream, and garnish with blueberries and lemon slices.
  • Serve immediately while cold and frosty.

Notes

  • You can skip the syrup step by blending blueberries directly if you don’t mind seeds.
  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk ice cream.
  • Try adding a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
