Ingredients

  • For the Buffalo Chicken:

    • 1 lb chicken breast (diced)
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • For the Fries:

    • 1 bag frozen French fries (or homemade)
    • 2 tbsp olive oil (if baking homemade fries)
  • For the Creamy Ranch Sauce:

    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp buttermilk (or regular milk)
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp dried dill
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Toppings:

    • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • Chopped green onions
    • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Fries:

    • If using frozen fries, cook them according to package instructions (usually bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes).
    • If making homemade fries, cut potatoes into fries, toss them in olive oil, and season with salt. Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Prepare the Buffalo Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced chicken breast and cook until golden brown, about 7-10 minutes.
    • Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Once the chicken is cooked through, pour in the buffalo sauce and stir until the chicken is coated. Remove from heat.
  • Make the Creamy Ranch Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Assemble the Buffalo Chicken Fries:

    • Once the fries are cooked, arrange them on a plate or a large serving tray.
    • Top the fries with the buffalo chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of creamy ranch sauce.
    • Garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve:

    • Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute grilled chicken or rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
  • For extra heat, add more buffalo sauce or a few dashes of hot sauce.
  • For a healthier version, use sweet potato fries or air fry the fries instead of deep frying.
