Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin on or off)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
Pat salmon dry with paper towels. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down (if skin-on) and sear 4–5 minutes until crispy and golden. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes. Remove salmon to a plate.
Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in honey, garlic, and lemon juice. Cook 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return salmon to skillet, spooning sauce over the fillets until coated and fully cooked.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning for spice preference — mild or extra hot.
Pairs perfectly with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted veggies.
To make it lighter, use half the butter and swap olive oil for searing.
