Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (more if desired)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the Steak: Rub Cajun seasoning evenly on both sides of the steaks. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for 3-5 minutes per side (or to desired doneness). Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing thinly.
  • Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  • Thicken the Sauce: Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Arrange the sliced Cajun steak on top.
  • Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more Cajun seasoning or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • You can substitute the steak with grilled chicken or shrimp for variation.
  • To make the dish lighter, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
