- 2 cups fresh or frozen sweet corn (thawed if frozen)
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives (for garnish)
- ½ cup cooked, crumbled meat (optional for added flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- Prepare the crust: Roll out the pie crust and fit it into the dish. Poke a few holes with a fork and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
