This Cheesy Garlic Bread combines rich garlic confit, melted mozzarella, and tangy pecorino, all on a crunchy ciabatta base. With a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of chili flakes, it’s the perfect side dish to complement your favorite meals.

Ingredients

  • 250g salted butter
  • 2430 garlic confit cloves
  • 1 tbsp garlic confit olive oil
  • 1 large handful parsley, plus extra to serve
  • 1 cup pecorino romano, plus extra to serve
  • 50g mozzarella
  • 1 ciabatta loaf, cut in half lengthways
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare Garlic Butter: Blend garlic confit cloves, butter, parsley, and pecorino romano in a food processor. Chill the mixture for 20 minutes.
  • Assemble Bread: Spread about 4 tbsp of garlic butter on each ciabatta half. Top with mozzarella and extra pecorino.
  • Grill: Place under the grill for 5–10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Serve: Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with chili flakes and parsley, and serve immediately.
