This easy Christmas dump cake is a festive and delicious dessert made with cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, cake mix, and butter. It’s a no-fuss treat perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Top with the crushed pineapple and spread it evenly over the cherry layer.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire cake mix layer, trying to cover as much as possible.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top if using.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
