Indulge in this rich and creamy Coffee Panna Cotta, flavored with instant coffee and topped with a luscious chocolate caramel drizzle and chocolate curls. A simple yet decadent dessert that’s perfect for coffee lovers!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 tsp unflavored gelatin (1 pack)
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Highground instant coffee
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Chocolate caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips (for chocolate curls)

Instructions

  • Spray 4 individual ramekins with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, pour cold water over the gelatin and let sit for 10 minutes to bloom.
  • In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and instant coffee. Heat over medium-low, whisking until the sugar dissolves and coffee is smooth.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in bloomed gelatin. Stir in salt and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the mixture into prepared ramekins, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • To serve, dip each ramekin in hot water for 5 seconds, run a knife along the edges, and invert onto a plate.
  • Drizzle with chocolate caramel sauce and top with chocolate curls made by melting chocolate chips and creating curls on parchment paper.

Notes

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours for best results.
  • For a more decadent touch, top with homemade salted caramel sauce.
