Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor and color)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the cauliflower: Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Season the cauliflower: Drizzle olive oil over the cauliflower florets and toss to coat them evenly. Then add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika (if using). Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  4. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower and toss to ensure the cheese sticks to the florets.
  5. Roast the cauliflower: Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the cauliflower halfway through. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the edges when done.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately as a side dish or appetizer.
