Deep Fried Marshmallows are a fun and indulgent treat featuring fluffy marshmallows coated in pancake batter, fried until golden, and topped with sweet toppings like whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Ingredients

  • 20 Jumbo Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • Vegetable Oil (2–3 cups, for deep frying)
  • Whipped Cream (optional, for serving)
  • Chocolate Syrup (optional, for serving)
  • Sprinkles (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat about 3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pancake mix, egg, milk, and a small amount of oil until the batter is smooth.
  3. Dip each marshmallow into the batter, coating evenly, and gently shake off any excess.
  4. Carefully place the coated marshmallows into the hot oil and fry for 30 seconds to 1 minute, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles if desired.
