Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count, store-bought tube)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or small chocolate bar pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional, for brushing)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. Place a few chocolate chips or a small piece of chocolate at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle up starting from the wide end, enclosing the chocolate inside.
  5. Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops lightly with melted butter, if desired.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Use white chocolate, dark chocolate, or peanut butter chips for variation.
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon inside for a warm, spiced twist.
  • Stuff in a few mini marshmallows with the chocolate for a s’mores version.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel after baking for added decadence.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for 5 days.
  • Reheat in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 5–7 minutes or microwave for 10–15 seconds.
