This easy White Queso Dip is perfect for any occasion. Made with two types of cheese, jalapeños, and tomatoes, it’s creamy, flavorful, and perfect for dipping chips. Ready in minutes, this dip will quickly become your go-to appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded and diced
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with chilies
  • Tortilla chips for dipping

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and jalapeños for 2-3 minutes until onions become translucent.
  • Add diced tomatoes and shredded cheeses. Stir until cheese begins to melt.
  • Slowly pour in half and half, stirring continually to combine until smooth and creamy.
  • Heat through and serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For extra spice, leave some jalapeño seeds in the dip or add hot sauce.
  • If the dip becomes too thick, add a bit more half and half to achieve desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately or keep warm in a slow cooker for parties.
