Ingredients

  • For the Chicken & Ramen:
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 2 chicken breasts (or thighs), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 tbsp chili paste (like gochujang or sambal oelek)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to heat level)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • Soft-boiled eggs
  • Sliced green onions
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Extra chili oil

Instructions

  • Cook ramen: Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook chicken: In a skillet, heat sesame oil. Add sliced chicken, soy sauce, and chili paste. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Make creamy garlic sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in cream, milk, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened (3–4 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine: Add cooked ramen and chicken back into the skillet. Pour in chicken broth and toss until noodles are well coated in sauce. Adjust consistency with more broth if needed.
  • Serve: Divide ramen into bowls. Top with eggs, green onions, sesame seeds, or a drizzle of chili oil for extra heat.

Notes

  • Extra spicy: Add sriracha, gochugaru, or hot chili oil.
  • Lighter option: Swap heavy cream with unsweetened coconut milk for a dairy-free twist.
  • More veggies: Add spinach, bok choy, or mushrooms to bulk it up.
  • Protein swap: Works with shrimp, beef, or tofu instead of chicken.
