Ingredients

For the Garlic Knots:

  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

For the Chicken Alfredo Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 12-14 equal strips.
  • Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  • Form the Ring: Arrange the dough strips in a circular shape on the baking sheet, slightly overlapping. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture along the center of the dough ring.
  • Wrap and Knot: Fold each strip over the filling, twisting slightly to create a knot-like shape.
  • Brush with Garlic Butter: Generously brush the tops of the knots with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping!

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick and easy shortcut.
  • You can substitute store-bought dough with homemade pizza dough if preferred.
  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the Alfredo filling.
  • Serve with a side of marinara for an extra dipping option.
