This Garlic Maple Dijon Chicken is a flavorful and easy gluten-free dish featuring a tangy and sweet marinade made with garlic, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard. Perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour the maple Dijon mixture evenly over the chicken, coating each piece well.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon extra sauce from the pan over the chicken if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger garlic flavor, allow the chicken to marinate in the sauce for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Pairs well with roasted vegetables, rice, or a light salad.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
