These healthy low-calorie fudgy brownies are a guilt-free indulgence made with wholesome ingredients. They’re rich, moist, and perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings without derailing your diet.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the applesauce, Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla extract, and honey or maple syrup until smooth.
  3. Add the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

  • Store brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • You can freeze them for longer storage.
