These Honey BBQ Crockpot Meatballs are a sweet, tangy, and savory appetizer made with just a few ingredients and minimal effort. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or an easy dinner, they’re made by slow cooking frozen meatballs in a flavorful honey BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen meatballs
  • 1 (18 oz) bottle BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Place frozen meatballs into the bottom of a crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs in the crockpot and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until heated through and sauce is thickened.
  5. Stir before serving. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice as a meal.

Notes

  • You can use homemade meatballs if preferred—just make sure they’re fully cooked before adding to the crockpot.
  • Adjust sweetness or tanginess by changing the honey or BBQ sauce ratio.
  • These can be kept warm in the crockpot on the ‘warm’ setting during a party.
