Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the marinade for at least 15 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon on it. Drizzle with the remaining marinade.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Broil for the last 2 minutes to caramelize the glaze, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Serve topped with chopped green onions.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Serve with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You can substitute lime juice for lemon juice for a slightly different citrus note.
