Hot Honey Mozzarella Eggs are a quick and flavourful breakfast dish featuring gooey melted mozzarella, perfectly cooked eggs, and a sweet-spicy drizzle of hot honey, ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp hot honey (15 ml)
  • 50 g grated mozzarella
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt, to taste (optional)
  • Black pepper, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the hot honey and let it bubble slightly.
  2. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella evenly over the honey and allow it to melt into a golden, gooey layer.
  3. Crack the eggs gently over the melted cheese. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the egg whites are set and the yolks reach your preferred doneness.
  5. Remove the lid and carefully fold the cheesy eggs over like an omelette using a spatula.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and melty.

  • Use a non-stick pan to prevent the cheese from sticking or burning.
