Key West Grilled Chicken is a flavorful and juicy dish marinated in a zesty blend of honey, soy sauce, lime juice, and garlic. Perfect for a summer BBQ or a quick weeknight dinner, this recipe delivers a tropical twist to your grilled chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and minced garlic.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Lightly oil the grill grate.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard remaining marinade.
  5. Grill chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
