Ingredients

For the Baked Potatoes:

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked, diced smoked meat (such as turkey or beef strips)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the Potatoes:

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Wash and dry the potatoes, then rub them with olive oil and salt.
    • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  2. Cook the Steak Bites:

    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil or butter.
    • Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the Toppings:
