Maple Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish featuring salmon fillets marinated in a sweet and savory maple syrup and soy sauce glaze, then baked to perfection. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that’s both healthy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound salmon fillet

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, turning once halfway through.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake the salmon uncovered for 20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 2 hours.
  • Use real maple syrup for best taste.
  • This recipe can also be made on the grill.
  • Serve with rice or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
