This quick and easy no-yeast flatbread recipe comes together in under 30 minutes using just a few simple ingredients. Soft, pliable, and perfect for wraps, dips, or as a side, it’s a great homemade alternative to store-bought flatbread.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Extra flour, as needed, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt and mix until a dough ball forms. If too sticky, add a little extra flour.
  3. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a round, flat shape about the size of pita bread.
  5. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Once hot, cook each flatbread until golden brown spots form on the underside, then flip and cook the other side until puffed and browned.
  6. Repeat with all dough rounds, stacking the cooked flatbreads and keeping them warm wrapped in a towel.
  7. Optionally, brush with melted butter and rub with garlic or sprinkle with herbs for extra flavor.

Notes

  • Add chopped herbs or spices to the dough for extra flavor.
  • Use part whole-wheat flour for a heartier version.
  • Store at room temperature for 1–2 days or freeze for longer storage.
  • Reheat in a skillet, oven, or microwave before serving.
  • Great for wraps, sandwiches, or mini pizzas.
