Oreo Tiramisu is a rich, no-bake dessert that combines bold coffee flavor with creamy mascarpone and chocolatey Oreo cookies for a decadent cookies-and-cream twist on the classic Italian favorite.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 1 standard package)
  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • 16 oz (450 g) mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and allow it to cool completely to room temperature.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until medium-stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined and light in texture.
  5. Quickly dip each Oreo cookie into the cooled coffee for about 1 second per side to avoid sogginess.
  6. Arrange a layer of dipped cookies at the bottom of a 9×9-inch or similar serving dish.
  7. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
  8. Repeat with another layer of dipped Oreos and the remaining cream mixture.
  9. Smooth the top with a spatula and dust generously with unsweetened cocoa powder.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

  • For extra chocolate flavor, add a layer of chocolate ganache between layers.
  • Add a splash of coffee liqueur to the coffee for an adult-friendly version.
  • Substitute half the coffee with milk for a milder flavor.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze tightly wrapped for up to 2 months and thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
