Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wingettes and drummettes
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), or air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
Pat chicken dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a large bowl, toss chicken with olive oil or melted butter to coat.
In a separate bowl, mix parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Add cheese mixture to the chicken and toss until well coated.
Place chicken on a wire rack over a baking sheet or in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, or air fry for 22–25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Patting the chicken dry helps achieve maximum crispiness.
Freshly grated parmesan gives better flavor than pre-grated.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat in oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
