A delicious fall dessert, Pumpkin Crisp combines the rich, warm flavors of pumpkin with a crisp, buttery topping. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any autumn gathering, this dessert is easy to make and a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, eggs, vanilla, and evaporated milk until smooth.
  • Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and chopped nuts (if using). Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the pumpkin layer.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pumpkin filling is set.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the nuts with granola or leave them out entirely if you prefer a nut-free dessert.
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgence.
