This Roasted Grape & Brie Crostini with Honey + Sea Salt is a delectable appetizer that combines sweet, roasted grapes with creamy brie and a drizzle of honey for the perfect balance of flavors. The sea salt adds a subtle contrast, making this dish the ideal starter for your next gathering or holiday event.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces

  • 1 cup red or green grapes, halved

  • 8 oz Brie cheese, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Arrange the grape halves on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they are soft and slightly caramelized.

  • While the grapes roast, place the baguette slices on a separate baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Once the crostini is toasted, remove from the oven and top each slice with a piece of Brie cheese.

  • Once the grapes are done, remove from the oven and place them on top of the Brie.

  • Drizzle honey over the crostini and sprinkle with sea salt. Add freshly ground black pepper if desired.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a milder flavor, you can substitute Brie with goat cheese.

  • You can also use different types of grapes (green, black, or mixed) for varying sweetness and flavor.

  • For a more savory touch, consider adding fresh thyme or rosemary to the roasted grapes.
