This Roasted Grape & Brie Crostini with Honey + Sea Salt is a delectable appetizer that combines sweet, roasted grapes with creamy brie and a drizzle of honey for the perfect balance of flavors. The sea salt adds a subtle contrast, making this dish the ideal starter for your next gathering or holiday event.
1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
1 cup red or green grapes, halved
8 oz Brie cheese, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange the grape halves on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they are soft and slightly caramelized.
While the grapes roast, place the baguette slices on a separate baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Once the crostini is toasted, remove from the oven and top each slice with a piece of Brie cheese.
Once the grapes are done, remove from the oven and place them on top of the Brie.
Drizzle honey over the crostini and sprinkle with sea salt. Add freshly ground black pepper if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
If you prefer a milder flavor, you can substitute Brie with goat cheese.
You can also use different types of grapes (green, black, or mixed) for varying sweetness and flavor.
For a more savory touch, consider adding fresh thyme or rosemary to the roasted grapes.
