Ingredients

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped toasted walnuts (or peanuts, pecans, or almonds)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with foil and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then stir in the marshmallows and nuts.
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth it into an even layer.
  6. Refrigerate the fudge until set, at least 2 hours.
  7. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

  • Use any combination of nuts you prefer, or leave them out for a nut-free version.
  • Toasted nuts enhance the flavor and add a crunchier texture.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
