A rich, gourmet-style cookie packed with melty semi-sweet chocolate chunks and a perfectly chewy center — a Crumbl classic favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chunks evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop large portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are set but soft.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Do not overbake; the center should be slightly underdone for a soft texture.
  • Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can enhance flavor and texture.
  • Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
