Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Add the condensed milk, egg, whole milk, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Add the softened butter and continue kneading until incorporated.
  • Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or individual rolls.
  • Place the dough in a greased baking pan and allow it to rise for another 30-40 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
