Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti (cooked and drained)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (or tomato sauce)
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or turkey (optional)
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish or a round baking dish with olive oil.
  • If using ground meat, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef or turkey, onion, and garlic, and cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  • In a separate large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and marinara sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Add the cooked meat mixture (if using) to the spaghetti mixture. Season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together.
  • Pour the spaghetti mixture into the prepared pie dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can swap out the meat for a vegetarian option like sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers.
  • If you want an extra cheesy crust, sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top before baking.
  • For a lighter version, use whole wheat spaghetti or a gluten-free pasta alternative.
