Crispy, flaky puff pastry twists filled with a savory mixture of fresh spinach, tangy feta cheese, and aromatic herbs. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or party finger food that’s quick to prepare and delicious to eat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix chopped spinach, crumbled feta, cream cheese, minced garlic, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
  • Spread spinach and feta mixture along the center of each strip.
  • Fold and twist each strip to form spirals. Place twists on baking sheet.
  • Beat the egg and brush over twists for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
