A no-bake, fruity and creamy dessert layered with vanilla wafers, bananas, strawberries, and a rich pudding-cream cheese mixture. Perfect for quick prep and serving at parties or casual sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
  • 1 container fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (5 oz) box French Vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz) tub whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and let it set slightly.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined.
  3. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  5. In a large serving dish or trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  6. Add a layer of sliced bananas and strawberries on top of the wafers.
  7. Spoon a layer of the pudding-cream cheese mixture over the fruit.
  8. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the cream mixture on top.
  9. Garnish with additional banana and strawberry slices if desired.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent them from turning mushy.
  • Best served within 24 hours for the freshest fruit texture.
  • You can substitute instant vanilla pudding if French Vanilla is unavailable.
  • Chill your mixing bowl and beaters before whipping for best texture.
