Soft and fluffy strawberry cinnamon rolls filled with a sweet strawberry filling and topped with a luscious cream cheese glaze. These homemade rolls are the perfect breakfast or dessert, bursting with fruity goodness and warm cinnamon flavor!

Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Strawberry Filling

  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon

For the Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
    • Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
    • Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Make the Strawberry Filling:

    • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
    • Cook until thickened (about 5 minutes), stirring occasionally.
    • Let cool completely.
  3. Assemble the Rolls:

    • Roll out dough into a 12×16-inch rectangle.
    • Spread strawberry filling evenly over the dough.
    • Roll up tightly from the long side and slice into 12 rolls.
  4. Second Rise & Bake:

    • Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Make the Glaze:

    • Whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
    • Drizzle over warm rolls and serve!
