This Strawberry Heaven On Earth Cake is a no-bake, layered dessert bursting with sweet strawberries, creamy pudding, and angel food cake. It’s the perfect light and refreshing treat for summer gatherings, potlucks, or when you’re craving something heavenly and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups cold milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
  • Stir in the sour cream until smooth and well combined.
  • In a 9×13-inch dish, layer half of the cubed angel food cake.
  • Spoon half of the strawberry pie filling over the cake cubes.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture on top of the strawberries.
  • Repeat the layers: cake cubes, remaining strawberry filling, and remaining pudding mixture.
  • Top with whipped topping, spreading evenly across the surface.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute the strawberry pie filling with fresh sliced strawberries mixed with a little sugar for a more natural flavor.
  • To make it even more decadent, drizzle white chocolate over the top before chilling.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance—it gets even better as it sits!
