Ingredients
1 pint fresh strawberries
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds (for eyes)
Shredded coconut or extra cream cheese (optional, for beard or fur trim)
Instructions
Wash strawberries and pat dry completely. Cut off the leafy green tops to create a flat base for each Santa.
Slice off the pointed tip of each strawberry (about 1/3 of the way down) to form Santa’s “hat.”
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
Spoon the cream filling into a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe a swirl of filling onto the base of each strawberry to form Santa’s “face and beard.”
Gently place the strawberry tops (the “hats”) back on top of the filling.
Add a small dollop of cream to the tip of each hat for the pom-pom.
Insert two mini chocolate chips or black sesame seeds into the cream to make Santa’s eyes.
Optional: Add a little shredded coconut around the beard for an extra fluffy effect.
Chill until ready to serve. Best enjoyed the same day for freshness.
Notes
Ensure strawberries are completely dry before assembling to prevent the filling from sliding off.
Use a small spoon if you don’t have a piping bag for the filling.
Store in the fridge but serve the same day for best texture and flavor.
