Ingredients

  • 8 oz block feta cheese (in brine, drained)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest
  • Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: honey, red pepper flakes, fresh herbs, olives, or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and season with freshly ground black pepper as desired.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil and any optional toppings like honey, herbs, or red pepper flakes.
  5. Serve immediately with veggies, pita chips, crackers, or store in the fridge until ready to use.

Notes

  • Use feta in brine for the best creamy texture and flavor.
  • Let the dip sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving if stored in the fridge.
  • Add toppings just before serving for best presentation.
  • You can adjust the garlic and lemon to taste depending on your preference.
