Ingredients
3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 170°F (75°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Blend the Ingredients: In a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries, honey, and lemon juice until smooth.
Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture to remove seeds.
Spread Evenly: Pour the mixture onto the lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly into a thin layer (about ⅛ inch thick).
Bake Low & Slow: Bake for 4-6 hours or until the fruit is dry to the touch but still flexible.
Cool & Roll: Let it cool completely, then cut into strips using scissors or a pizza cutter. Roll them up with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Store: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for longer freshness.
Notes
You can swap strawberries for raspberries, mangoes, or mixed berries.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
Dehydrator Option: Instead of baking, use a dehydrator at 135°F (57°C) for 4-6 hours.
